Why is it that swinging is a welcome social activity, yet polygamy is such a hated thing?

I work at a swingers club, and see lawyers, police, judges, probation officers and others in government and power that particpate in some acts that even I in my 33 years would have never even thought of.

Yet a man loving more than one woman is considered evil and a sin?

I don't know, sounds like a double standard to me.

I guess, I am going to #@*%! for having two loving relationships right now?

Yet I can go out and sleep with a bunch of women in one night and that's fine....

Doesn't seem right to me. And I fully support the idea of loving more than one woman.
